Privacy policy

Summary

Data Centers Intel is a public directory. It has no user accounts and no advertising. It uses Google Analytics to measure how the site is used, and it handles what you choose to send through the contact form.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose, any facility URL you enter and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to correct listings. The form is processed by our hosting provider, Netlify, which stores submissions on our behalf. We delete messages when they are no longer needed to handle your request, and within 24 months at the latest.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to two years) to tell visits and returning visitors apart. It collects the pages you view, how you arrived (for example the referring site), time and interactions on pages, your browser, device type, screen size and language, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The data is processed by Google and may be transferred to servers outside your country, including the United States. We use it only as aggregated statistics about the site and do not use it for advertising.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

The site uses no other cookies and no advertising trackers.

Server logs

Like any website host, Netlify records technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this data to identify visitors.

Third-party map tiles

Maps are drawn with map tiles loaded from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org). When a page shows a map, your browser requests those tiles directly, so OpenFreeMap receives your IP address and the area of the map being viewed. Fonts and the map library are served from this site, not from third parties; the only other third party is Google Analytics, described above.

Listings

Listings describe facilities and the companies or organisations that operate them. They are compiled from public sources named on each facility page. If a listing is wrong, or if you are responsible for a facility and want its listing corrected or removed, use the contact form and choose "Ask for a listing to be corrected or removed". Include the page address. We will review the request and reply.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data you have sent us through the contact form. Use the contact form to make a request.

Changes

We will update this page when the way we handle data changes, and change the date above.
